A Drizzle or a Glug?

It’s no secret I love olive oil and the only oil that I use. I totally feel that the amount used is a personal preference! I may start using these terms since peoples pans sizes and portion sizes all differ.

There are two terms, a drizzle and a glug.

A drizzle is something you would do with olive oil in a salad, on grilled meats, veggies etc like a condiment.

A glug would be enough to coat the bottom of the pan you are cooking in.

And remember that regular olive oil is a safer bet when cooking because of the higher smoke point and neutral flavor, and extra-virgin olive oil is ideal for a flavorful dressing, a dip for bread, or a last minute pour over a cooked piece of meat.
