This refreshing cocktail is an Italian aperitif, originally created in 1919 by bartender Raimondo Ricci. The drink was invented as a means to combat the heat and humidity of Italy's summer months. I can’t even drink one without dreaming of being on the Amalfi Coast.
You will need:
3 parts Prosecco
2 parts Aperol
1 part sparkling water
Orange slice
Fill a large wine glass to the top with ice. Add the Prosecco and Aperol, stir and top with sparkling water. Garnish with orange slice.
