When it comes to entertaining, my friend Gail truly excels. Her home is not just welcoming, it’s a reflection of her impeccable taste. From her stunning collection of serving pieces to her culinary prowess and spot-on wine selections, she knows how to host like a pro. I have to admit, I feel a bit of hostess envy because it all comes so naturally to her!
The other night, she wowed us with a dessert that was nothing short of delicious. As soon as I took my first bite, I knew I had to share it with all of you. Tiramisu is a classic favorite, loved for its rich flavor and history, but many shy away because of the time it takes to prepare. This version, however, is quick and easy, and trust me, no matter how full you are, you’ll devour every last bite.
You will need:
1 1/4 cup mascarpone
1/2 cup whipping cream
3 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 1/12 tbsp Kahlua
Coca powder for dusting
Lady Fingers for dipping
In a large mixing bowl, whip the mascarpone for about a minute until creamy. Beat in cream, sugar, and Kahlua until thick, about 2 minutes.
Divide mixture into 4 small ramekins or other serving dishes. Dust generously with cocoa powder and serve with ladyfingers on the side.
