One of my favorite places on the Marshwalk is Wicked Tuna. I always get the spicy pineapple margarita and tuna pizza! The bartenders there are the ones that turned me on to Tanteo jalapeño tequila. You can omit it, but I will say its very subtle and adds good flavor!
You will need:
1 1/2 oz coconut tequila-I used 1800 brand
1 oz jalapeño tequila- I used Tanteo
1 tbsp simple syrup
1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
Sliced jalapeño ( optional)
Pineapple chunks ( optional)
Tajin classic seasoning
Take two small plates and sprinkle Tajin on one, and put pineapple juice on the other. Place a small cocktail glass or margarita glass in the juice then the Tajin in a spinning motion. Fill a cocktail shaker up with ice, and add tequilas, simple syrup, and pineapple juice. Shake for a good 30 seconds until frothy. Pour everything including ice into rimmed glass. Garnish with jalapeño and pineapple.
